It was a marthon session today. I started the day by priming the engine cooling air inlet rings. Then I completed numerous firewall forward tasks including more work on sealing openings inside the engine cooling air plenum chamber, installing the air filter in the filter housing, trimming and securing the carburetor heat contol cable, installing heat shrink on the EGT/CHT harness connectors and securing the harness, tightening the exhaust system ball joint fasteners, lock wiring the carburetor inlet elbow retaining screws, lockwiring the brake calipers, installing the OAT sensors, cotter pinning the canopy latching mechanism linkage bolts, installing the center section upright caps in the cabin, installing the fresh air vents and ducts and finally some more placards were installed.
